STUDY SPACE TOUR 2017

As promised! I'll be sharing some pictures on how does my study space in my current university looks like tonight. will also be listing a few tips on how to stay organised throughout the semester. It works for me, and i hope it works for you as well! I was actually planning to write on this since the end of November but i cant help it with my tight schedule. Juggling my life between weekly test, classes, never ending assignments and presentations. FRESHMAN YEAR IS EXHAUSTING!!!!! haha

So here it is. I hope you enjoy.

First of all, you dont actually have to spend money on decorating. Everything is free from the internet XD Being a university student means u gotta spend the least possible in everything u would like to do.

Similar concept to what i've had back in UiTM Dengkil, greens is a must in my room. Be it in my room at home or hostel. Apart from the aesthetic kinda feels it gaves me, it can actually bring some peace to me in some way.

p/s: the plant was initially in a veryyyyy healthy condition LOL.

I felt so sorry towards the plant to be very honest but im still glad it still survive up until today.

So this is the overview of my study space. My theme this time would be black, white, blue and a lil bit of brown.

HOW I DESIGN MY BORING NOTICE BOARD + HOW TO ORGANISE YOUR LIFE WITH IT

1) Weekly Time Table
As for this i redesign it to make it look more minimal and stylish at the same time. You can actually use any online photo editor or software such as Photoshop to customise your own time table based on your preferences.

2) Monthly Calendar
You can easily get the free printable for monthly calendar from pinterest. Calendar is a must must must for me in order to keep track what events or assignments due in that particular month.

3) To Do List
brand Sassy, i bought it from MPH Book Store. They have thousands of cute&affordable stationaries to choose from.

To make sure i finished my assignments on time and manage to have my time to study is by having these life savers. I arranged my task in order of its priority adapting the idea from the book Eat That Frog by Brian Tracy.

Since i am someone who had quite a number of hobbies such as running an online business, spending my time at the dance studio and also writing, there is a need for me to stay organised and balanced between both my academic and my hobbies.

4) FOCUS ON THE GOOD printables
To some people, a simple but deep wordings and quotes might keep them motivated, apart from making it as one of the decorations. That was also printed from pinterest. it will be better if u find the free ones instead of stealing artist artworks without their permission.

5) An old aesthetic picture of my father
Just to keep me motivated throughout my semester.

6) Wall decoration.
In the beginning of my semester, this beautiful hand painted map was actually pasted on my wall on the other side of my study space. But i have packed half of my things since semester is ending in 4 weeks.

A lil facts about these map is; it is the country i always wanted to go since i was small.

You can actually purchased this from my talented friend, here.

Honestly, i'm keeping everything simple and organised is because am going to start fresh in my studies. Minimise the unnecessary part in decorating and maximise the usage of the study area instead XD I've already wasted my opportunity to further my studies in Psychology a year ago and i wont do the same mistakes this time.

So basically, by staying organised throughout the semester and keep focus about my academic can help me overcome the first step of getting acclimated to university!

Till then,
Sara.
