Hello everyone,
Im actually in my holiday mode since i am currently on my semester break. So to kill the time counting days for this FRIDAY!!! I thought of updating my blog before going for a short holiday. i was actually spring cleaning my room this whole week and i arranged my skincare essentials on my vanity. and the idea of sharing it with you guys popped out :-)
last year, i've been receiving a few DMs on my instagram asking me what product i am using for my skin etc. lol honestly im not the right person to ask but yeah i'll tell you how i keep my skin in a good condition (at least for me). like a normal human being, my skin do break out sometimes especially at the end of every week (i dont even know why). so usually i'll be having my own face spa session during weekend depends on my kerajinan.
i am someone who is not really extra concern about my skin because i didnt eat clean and avoid eating food that is not good for the skin. plus, i didnt wear it everyday, depends on my mood haha. yes, even face wash. also FUNFACT; i eat food with belacan almost setiap hari.
those with numbers are a few tips on how i keep my skin healthy
1) i drink at least 4litre of water everyday. i've been reading a lot of tips on the internet saying that water is actually the natural way to have a radiant glowing skin. at first i thought it doest really work but alhamdulillah it works for me. it eliminates all the toxins in our body and skins.
2) and ofcourse i do wear a few skincare product as well.
another fact about me, i only start wearing face wash, toner etc at the age of 18. (waktu tu dah umur jaga muka kulit, konon haha) talking about skin, different people have different type of skin. and some of the product im using may not be effective on certain people. so it takes a few times to know your skin better and find the perfect product for it!
3) i wear makeup once a year, or maybe twice. the other remaining 363 days are no makeup day.
4) i only wear quality skincare product that is well-known for their effectiveness. it doesnt have to be something fancy, as long as the ingredient is safe then try it. choose your skin care product that is really really quality. eventhough it sounds ridiculous but spend your money more on your skin rather than makeup. dont be fooled by cheap products yang kononnya give instant effect to your skin. thats nonsense.
ok so moving on to the main motive of this post. here is the product that i used.

1) Good Virtues Co. Glowing&Goodness Brightening Facial Toner.
I started using this product July last year, so far so good. its very refreshing and gentle to my skin. the only thing i hate about the toner is the spray; not practical.
A fact about this brand, they have a certified halal logo from JAKIM and a muslim product. they used habbatus sauda, animal cruelty free and no paraben. 2) Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water
I used this to remove my lipbalm/lipstick everyday before i sleep. u may apply it to your whole face as well eventhough u didnt wear any makeup. not sticky and i like it! iklan cakap you can clean off everthing at only one wipe but nope tipu!!! haha
3) Nature Republic Super Aqua Max
i bought this because of 변백현 hahahaha but it is actually so cool and refreshing to wear it at night before sleep.
4) Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask
EXTREMELY RECOMMENDED for dry lips. The next morning you wake up, your lips are super moist :-) 10/10! The berry smell is so good that i wanted to eat it but obviously it is not edible.
5) Good Virtues Co. Glowing&Goodness Refreshing Deep Cleansing Facial Foam
i use this before applying the toner. i rarely wash my face with facial foam. kadang tu sebulan tiga kali ><
6) Innisfree Super Volcanic Pore Clay Mask
I wear this once in a month when i was at home but veryyy jarang when im in my college because who got time for that. but so far, it realllllyyyy moisturize my skin as well as firming my skin. 8/10.
7) Innisfree Green Tea Seed Serum
I like everything about green tea. Serum is actually the last thing to apply to my skincare routine and the costliest product among all.i like how it penetrate into my skin instantly! The green tea scent is calming especially before going to bed.
8) Nature Republic Aloe Vera 92% Soothing Gel Mist
I think this is one of the popular korean beauty product in Malaysia. Extremely goood to the point that your sunburn lines dissapeared after a night of applying it on your skin! The texture itself pun is very cool. very suitable for malaysia weather to keep your skin hydrated throughout the day. I recommend buying this type of packaging instead of the gel ones so that u can bring it with you everywhere without worry. spray je bila rasa panas :-)
based on my experience, i used this alot when i stayed in riyadh. pergi umrah pun pakai. i can say that this is one of the best thing that i've ever buy and used for my skin.
but be extra careful, there is a lot of counterfeit version of this aloe vera product. so make sure to buy the one within price range RM30- rm35. Buy it either from their official flagship store or from any trusted websites such as hermo.my or althea.
so yeap, i only use 8 products for my skin. as for the face mask sheet, i've stopped using it ever since my skin got swollen the next morning after i used the face mask. at first i thought it might be because of that brand X is not suitable for my skin but it turns out that my skin cannot accept any kind of face mask so yeah :/
and to be honest, to have a good skin is actually u have to really check what you eat because U ARE WHAT U EAT. these chemicals doesnt really last long and might give a worst and horrible effect after stop wearing it. but im a malay how to not eat oily food omg
dan paling penting sis, wudhu' jangan lupa ya sehari 5 kali at least hehe. do comment if you have anything to ask regarding the products!
