grand launching spao

Hello there readers!

WARNING : THIS IS A KPOP RELATED POST

I've been waiting for this to happen ever since SPAO released their collaboration tee with EXO around July this year. But unfortunately that time it was really really limited and sold in Korea only. They do take group orders from overseas but apparently the EMS + local postage fee is as equal as the price of the tshirt. The price of the tee itself is 19,900 KRW = 18 usd = RM80.47. Can you imagine the overall cost just for the tshirt? --' So i decided to hold it in and not to buy it. (Well, i'm used to "only available in korea" thingy XD)

This tshirt is not an ordinary tshirt. The clothing line is in partnership with UNICEF "School of Asia" programme. 1,000 KRW = rm3.80+ from every purchase of the tshirt is donated to the organisation. And it has their signature as well at the back of the tshirt :') (ISNT THAT EXTRAORDINARY)

Earlier in September, I happened to walked across the west wing of IOI city and i realised there was a massive EXO and AOA poster. and OMG Spao is opening their 2nd outlet there which is quite near to the college im currently in!!!!

After waiting for months, they finally launched the store on 25th of November and I happened to be near that area that day so i was like why not give it a try? 😘

9.00 AM

It took 1 hour driving from my home to the mall, so we departed early from home so that we can get the early bird promotion.

10.00 AM

We arrived IOI city mall but it was too early, none of the shops are opened yet. We decided to wait in the car for half an hour. Honestly I SWEAR we wasnt expecting so many exo fans "berkampung" in front of the store. And since Sephora is having 20% off due to Black Friday, we stopped by there before waiting in line for SPAO opening. But we bought nothing because gurl it aint 50% off 🙃

10.58 AM

I was already in the waiting line! There are so many people lining up in front of me. I thought i might exceed the first 200 customer but luckily im am the 168th!! So i received 2 half priced voucher and the sad part is the voucher are only valid throughout the 3 days promotion :( IM SUPER BROKE THIS MONTHS, i've already aimed for the limited tee only so i decided to give the voucher to some strangers in the store XD

and guess what, i waited for almost 2 hours because the store opened at 12. (Demi limited tee, sabo jela) IT WAS ONLY RM50!!! Normal price is rm79 and duhh it is wayyy more cheaper than the korean price --'

12.00 AM

Finally, i managed to enter the store. It wasnt that hectic at the store except for the EXO X SPAO limited tee section. Baju dah tak rupa baju, serabut. The section was surrounded by tons of people and i cant really choose the tee properly. I literally grabbed a tee and oh my god i cant believe myself it was D.O's tee with my size. Done with that, the cashier is empty because i dont know, most of them continued shopping at other section but not me (as mentioned im super broke + the clothing is quite expensive and not really hijab friendly)

Here is some overview of the store and preview of the white version. because guess what people, 4 hours after the opening ALL BLACK TEE WAS SOLD OUT. wowerz.

CAN YOU IMAGINE HOW HARD IT IS TO CONTROL MYSELF NOT TO FANGIRL INSIDE THE STORE THEY ARE EVERYWHERE OH MY GOD. There is actually a huge screen showing spao ads but i didnt manage to record because im paying for my things it might cause inconvenience to others.

This is like my first time experiencing something that required my patience. Im not someone who fancy waiting in like for something or anything. But overall its great! No pushing or shouting whatsover. We behaved well in there!

For those who wants to join the crowd, please do so because the price is super affordable but not for someone like me XD Here's the detail

review first semester

credit to google image

Hello readers! I am so sorry for the delay. Super busy with hectic college life which explains why I dont really have time to write a post. This post was supposed to be the continuation of Singapore part 1 but nahhh.....I dont have the pictures with me. It will be quite dull and boring to write without pictures and that trip is so 2015!!

I decided to write again because im done with my first semester and currently having my 2 months break at none other than my home. I have a lot of things to share but first of all, let me tell you about my current college. I'm studying in UiTM Dengkil for foundation in science. Basically, it is a centre only for foundation studies, mainly for science, law, tesl and engineering.

I registered about five to six months ago (?) i think so, i cant really remember the exact date. The facility is soooooo goooddd i tell you, 100% satisfaction. Even though the dorm is quite small and compact but its okay because everything is new and practical. We are provided 2 shower per 6 students, that is beyond okay for a government college.

But one thing im quite upset is with the arrangement of our study area. I'll show you in my future post. I dont have my privacy, not at all. Plus i hate the fact that i have to deal with others' study style. Loud musics especially.

Since I am the only student from my previous high school who enrolled in foundation in science, can you imagine how nerve wrecking it was. and fun fact, this is my first time being metres away from home and alone by myself without friends. Few days before the registration day, i looked up for several dorm decoration ideas on youtube. That is the only way to comfort me.

Homesick? yes of course, who doesnt. I dont really missed the comfort-ness of my room and stuff, i missed my parents. There are times where i was studying and without even realising i was crying because i miss them so much ( i have to admit im such a weirdo)

The first week was our orientation week. More like kena-makan-nasi-in-3-minutes kinda week. Some of the seniors are good to us but some are not. I cannot accept how some of them handle the juniors. Come on we just registered kot, at least enlighten us in a good way instead of using harsh words. Woke up at 4 everyday throughout the week and mostly spend time listening to talks.

And that is the week where i almost cry seeing others with friends. I'm not good in making friends plus others are sticking with their high school friends. and i have none.

Moving on to the week where classes started. OH MY GOD. I was looking forward who might be my classmates and thousands of thoughts coming from mind. how am i gonna fit in etc. First class is super awkward and tbh sampai sekarang pun 😂 😂  Not forgetting the highlight of my first semester...... i freaking introduced myself as someone they can refer if they have any doubt in hukum hakam. CAN YOU IMAGINE HOW HUMILIATING IT WAS? IM SO DUMB. I swear i regretted my whole life. That is the turning point of my college life, i guess.

The learning process is fine but i am still having hard time adapting. At the end of semester, i cant believe myself i covered like almost half of the thick textbook in 4 months (not to forget labs, weekly test and assignments orz)

I took 6 subjects; Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Maths, English and Religious study. And my most favourite is maths which WAS MY LEAST FAVOURITE IN HIGH SCHOOL. Everything is completely different, i used to keen of chemistry and perform well in that subject but not anymore :( but overall i can still survive, see im breathing!!!! (Additional notes : results are coming out this 15th of November)

And those sports spirit i used to have during high school drop drastically. I didnt join any of the sports event organised throughout the semester, not even leisure activity which most of the students anticipate for the sake of coupons 😂   That explains how lazy i am.

That sums up my first semester for foundation! Cliche journey, nothing much. I hope it might help some of the upcoming juniors who have no idea what does foundation life looks like. 99 liner, if you are reading this. DO NOT WORRY, just go with the flow and good luck for the national exam this Monday! I hope you ace in your exam 😀

p/s: I might be doing a room tour when semester reopens, please look forward! :)

Regards,
sara.
